Warhammer 40,000 3rd edition Telescopic Box
This was the packaging that contained all the game parts for you to play the game. The box game with a top and bottom. The cover was illustrated by John Blanche. The cover image portrays a battle scene with the Black Templars standing mighty in the mid-ground. This image sets the scene of a grimdark universe that is torn apart by perpetual war between various alien and human species.
The Rule Book – 3rd edition
The 3rd edition of the game came with an illustrated 288-page rule book.
The Weapon Templates & Markers
The 3rd edition of Warhammer 40K also came with weapon markers. These markers were used to check the blast and damage radius of explosive and incendiary type weapons.

The Space Marines also benefitted from having a LandSpeeder in their set. A vehicle that allowed the Space Marines to glide across the battlefield raining down Heavy Bolter fire, or intense heat from a front-mounted Multi-Melta.
